These terms cover the CrewBuilt website build, the required Care Plan, delivery targets, customer responsibilities, cancellation, and related topics.

01Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service govern the purchase and use of services from CrewBuilt (TODO: Legal entity name, referred to here as “CrewBuilt,” “we,” or “our”). By purchasing or using CrewBuilt services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the services.
02Business Eligibility and Authority
You represent that you:
- Are legally able to enter this agreement
- Have authority to act on behalf of the business associated with the purchase
- Will provide accurate information
03Service Description
CrewBuilt provides:
- Contractor website design and production
- CrewBuilt-hosted website operation
- Quote-request functionality
- Lead alerts (text)
- Backup lead emails
- Technical maintenance
- Small updates
- Related Care Plan services
Exact structure and content may vary by business. CrewBuilt typically produces from templates and reusable components tailored with customer-provided information.
04Pricing
- $497 is charged today.
- The $497 includes the website build and the first month of the required Care Plan.
- $30/month is charged thereafter.
- The monthly Care Plan is required while CrewBuilt hosts and operates the website.
05Automatic Renewal and Payment Authorization
- Monthly renewal continues until canceled.
- You authorize CrewBuilt (and its payment processor) to charge the payment method on file on a recurring basis.
- Taxes may apply where required.
- Prices may change prospectively with notice, subject to applicable law.
06Failed Payments
If a payment fails, CrewBuilt may:
- Retry payment
- Notify the customer
- Suspend lead notifications
- Suspend updates
- Suspend or disable the hosted website after reasonable notice

07Delivery Target
Your website will be ready within five business days after payment and completion of the required intake.
This is a service target, not an absolute guarantee.
- Customer delays (including delays in providing required intake information) may extend the timeline.
- Missing optional materials do not pause production.
- Third-party outages or events outside reasonable control may cause delay.
- CrewBuilt-hosted completion is distinct from custom-domain connection. A website may be complete and live on a CrewBuilt-hosted address even if a custom domain has not yet been connected.
08Intake and Customer Responsibilities
You are required to provide accurate:
- Business information
- Services
- Pricing claims
- Hours
- Service areas
- Contact information
- Licenses
- Certifications
- Warranties
- Testimonials
- Photos
- Other submitted content
CrewBuilt may rely on the information you submit and is not responsible for verifying its accuracy.
09Use of Existing and Public Information
You authorize CrewBuilt to use, only for the purpose of providing the service:
- Content you submit
- Content from your existing website
- Authorized public business information
- Business profiles you identify
10Website Preview and Revision
- One structured revision opportunity is included.
- Revisions are for factual corrections and reasonable text and image changes.
- Major redesigns and scope changes are not included.
- CrewBuilt may launch the site after the review period if the customer does not respond.

11CrewBuilt-Hosted Launch
- The site may first launch on a CrewBuilt-hosted address.
- Domain access is not required before production.
- A custom domain may be connected later.
- Delays from a domain provider or registrar are outside CrewBuilt's control.
12Domain Ownership
- A customer owns a domain that is registered in their own name.
- CrewBuilt does not automatically acquire ownership of customer domains.
- Customers are responsible for maintaining their domain registration unless separately agreed.
- CrewBuilt may assist with DNS configuration for connecting a customer domain to a hosted website.
13Customer Content Ownership
Customers retain ownership of the original materials they submit, subject to the license required for CrewBuilt to provide the service (including building, hosting, operating, and supporting the website).
14CrewBuilt Intellectual Property
CrewBuilt retains ownership of:
- Templates
- Reusable layouts
- Components
- Systems
- Code
- Workflows
- Processes
- Infrastructure
- Internal tools
- Design systems
- General know-how
- Improvements not unique to the customer
15Hosted Website License
While the Care Plan remains active and in good standing, the customer receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the hosted website for its business. The hosted website is not automatically delivered as a fully transferable custom software asset.
16Care Plan
The recurring Care Plan supports:
- Hosting
- Lead alerts
- Backup emails
- Form processing
- Technical maintenance
- Security
- Small updates
- Supporting technical infrastructure
17Small Updates
Small updates include reasonable changes such as:
- Replacing a photo
- Correcting business information
- Updating hours
- Updating a phone number
- Editing a short section
- Updating a listed service
18Out-of-Scope Work
The following are not included in the standard service:
- New pages
- Redesigns
- Major rewrites
- Booking systems
- Ecommerce
- Customer portals
- Custom software
- Advanced integrations
- Ongoing SEO campaigns
- Paid advertising
- Unlimited edits
Separate pricing may apply for work outside the standard scope.
19Third-Party Infrastructure
- CrewBuilt may use third-party providers for payments, hosting, databases, messaging, email, monitoring, security, domains, and related systems.
- CrewBuilt normally manages those relationships on the customer's behalf.
- The customer is not being assigned separate provider accounts unless explicitly agreed in writing.
- Third-party services may experience outages or changes.
- CrewBuilt does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of third-party services.
20No Guaranteed Results
CrewBuilt does not guarantee:
- Leads
- Jobs
- Revenue
- Traffic
- Search rankings
- Conversion rates
- Business growth
21SEO
The standard service includes basic technical and on-page foundations. It does not include an ongoing SEO campaign, keyword strategy engagement, or any ranking guarantee.
22Legal and Regulatory Compliance
The customer is responsible for:
- Accuracy of claims made on the website
- Licenses
- Permits
- Industry regulations
- Pricing
- Service promises
- Warranties
- Accessibility obligations specific to the customer's business
- Privacy notices specific to the customer's operations
- Consumer-protection obligations
- Content rights
23Prohibited Businesses and Content
CrewBuilt may refuse or terminate projects involving:
- Illegal activity
- Fraud or deception
- Adult content
- Gambling
- Weapons
- Exploitation
- Hate or harassment
- Dangerous or abusive conduct
- Other activity CrewBuilt considers unsuitable
24Cancellation
- Customers may cancel according to the stated cancellation process.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
- Charges already paid are generally nonrefundable.

25Effect of Cancellation
After cancellation takes effect:
- Hosting may end
- Lead alerts may stop
- Backup emails may stop
- Maintenance stops
- Small updates stop
- The CrewBuilt-hosted website may be disabled
- Custom-domain routing to the CrewBuilt-hosted website may stop
26Export or Transfer
- Export or transfer of the hosted website to another provider is not included in the standard service.
- Export or transfer may not always be technically practical.
- A separate fee may apply if an export or transfer is agreed.
- CrewBuilt systems, templates, components, and reusable materials remain CrewBuilt property and are not transferred.
27Refunds
No refunds are available once production has materially begun, except where required by law.
Before production has materially begun, refund eligibility will depend on the final checkout policy. TODO: Cancellation process The exact pre-production cancellation rule will be documented once checkout is implemented.
28Suspension and Termination
CrewBuilt may suspend or terminate service, in whole or in part, for reasons including:
- Nonpayment
- Abuse
- Illegal use
- Fraud
- Security risk
- Prohibited content
- Material breach of these terms
29Service Changes
CrewBuilt may modify infrastructure, tools, providers, and workflows used to deliver the service, so long as the core service is not materially reduced without appropriate notice.
30Disclaimers
The services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. CrewBuilt does not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from all security risk.
To the extent permitted by law, CrewBuilt disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. This section is intended to be a moderate, initial disclaimer and is subject to attorney review.
31Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrewBuilt's total liability arising out of or relating to the services will not exceed the amounts paid by the customer to CrewBuilt in the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
CrewBuilt will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost business opportunity, or loss of data, even if advised of the possibility.

32Indemnification
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless CrewBuilt and its personnel from claims arising out of or related to:
- Customer-provided content
- Business claims made on the customer's website
- Regulatory violations
- Intellectual-property violations
- Customer misuse of the services

33Force Majeure
CrewBuilt is not responsible for delays or failures in performance caused by events outside its reasonable control, including natural disasters, network or infrastructure outages, provider failures, labor disruptions, or government actions.
34Governing Law and Disputes

35Changes to Terms
CrewBuilt may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the services after an update indicates acceptance of the current terms.
